13% Grapes were carefully selected and picked, then kept at cool temperatures until fermentation. Generally speaking, the climate is continental resulting in long sunny days and noticeably cooler nights. Long sunshine hours ensured healthy ripe fruit at the time of picking. Individual batches of juice were fermented and blended to achieve an integration of fruit, oak and fermentation flavours. Oak/lees treatment: some batches were fermented with oak of varying levels and type (American & French), some without oak and some batches were left on yeast lees a little longer to add complexity McGuigan Wines is one of Australia's leading producers and this new McGuigan Classics range is one of their core brands, created to highlight the strength of Australia's key grapes.
