Made for M&S by Terry Barnett, Tallarook Wines from 100% Marsanne. The grapes are hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, before being cold settled and transferred to old French oak. Trademark wild yeast fermentation with partial malolactic fermentation adds further complexity. – major stores. Has a similar waxy smell to a Semillon. Fat, savoury and inviting nose. Dry taste and very savoury. There’s been some oak French oak contact, but it’s not overt and just adds a little texture. 19/09/08 13% |
