76% Zinfandel, 20% Petite Syrah, 4% Carignan. Aged for 18 months in 100% French Oak, 25-30% new barrels. Crafted by the 'King of Zin', Joel Peterson, from old vines growing in Lodi's well drained sandy soils. Spicy, baked and figgy on the nose and in the mouth, but overwhelmed by 15% alcohol. 08/05/08 15.00% |
