50% Tinta Roriz, 25% Touriga Franca, 15% Touriga Nacional, 10% Tinta Barroca. Aged 9 months in American Oak. Produced for Sainsbury's by Quinta do Crasto. These two Portuguese wines were grouped with Beaujolais, which is about right. Floral, juicy smell. The alcohol is warm, at 14%, but not hot. Dark, plummy fruit flavours and some oak. Not unpleasant and lasts fruitily. 08/05/08 14.00% |
