95% Tempranillo, 5% Mazuelo. Aged two years in American oak casks (2/3) and new French casks (1/3). Showing its age - brick/garnet colour. Very American oaky on the nose - perhaps too much. A very oaky taste but with full fruit flavours, which help to balance the oak. Nice, spicy, oaky finish. Good, if oak's your thing. 13.50% 08/05/08 |
