100% Cortese grapes from 35 year old vines. Produced for Sainsbury's by Araldica's Battistina Vineyard in Piedmont. A small part of the wine is barrel fermented in French oak for enhanced palate weight.Sweet, ripe greengage aroma. Tasty with refreshing, juicy greengage flavour. Price about right. 12.00% 8/05/08
