Made for Tesco by Howard Park. Released young for early drinking. Founded in 1986, Howard Park has spent the last two decades cementing its position as one of Western Australia's leading wine producers. With wineries and vineyard plots in the premier grape-growing regions of Margaret River and Great Southern, owners Jeff & Amy Burch are firm believers in the potential of WA's cool coastal climate for producing outstanding wines. Western Australia's Great Southern region has forged a reputation for making long living Riesling and Howard Park is the region's best producer with a history of over 21 years of Riesling production. Tony Davis joined as Senior Winemaker in December 2006. Some dry, petrolly aroma, but not very forward. Prickly, dry and typical. Long flavour and pretty drying. 13% (730 stores) 27/06/08 |
