Made for Tesco by Bodegas Agricola Castellana SCL from 100% Verdejo. Verdejo thrives in the local climate with extreme variations between daytime and night-time temperatures, developing an ideal balance of tropical fruit flavours and crisp acidity. Crushed with nine hours skin contact. Fermented in stainless steel with aromatic yeasts at 14°C. Kept sur lie for four months post fermentation with remontage.
Beautifully catty, like brushing up against a blackcurrant bush with snapped twigs. Very savoury, almost salty taste. Would be great with herby antipasti, actually anything fresh and stimulating. 12.5%
