Post subject:  Sileni Satyr Marlborough Sauvignon 07 Tesco 7.99
14% Semillon. 5.7 g/l sugar. Creamy smell. Slight prickle. You can feel the Semillon. Not a gooseberry in sight. Residual sugar is high, but it seems balanced and not OTT.

'08 now and (praise be) < £4 but only on internet. Straight down the middle but won't take Goose's double-figure temps. One down, five to go...

No, no, just happened to see your Sem reference and checked my bottle. Nothing on the internet either. Quiet night tonight and tomorrow as off to Devizes again on Sunday. The St Claire Estate or VM Cellar planned as reward on return c. 2200

Thanks, it did have something of the night about it, but couldn't put my finger on it. That's why there are so many Sileni SBs I guess. Will approach the next with that in mind. Very interesting notes on the fortified too.
