Magnum. 6 months in oak vats, 36 months in new oak barriques and at least 12 months in bottle before release. Great for a Christmas dinner party. Dark colour for Rioja - perhaps because of the 2003 vintage. Rich, ripe, tropical or apricot smell. Very full, ripe taste with some furry, leathery tannins. Sweet fruit. Very good. 11/10/07
