Arneis is the (white) grape, which we hardly ever see in the UK. It's from Roero, 15 km north of Barolo, and is generally known as Roero Arneis. Ripe fruit on the nose and palate. Interesting, and lasts well. Definitely worth trying. 11/10/07 |
