Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru. Mainly French oak but some eastern European. Not much smell just chardonnay and a little oak. Beautiful taste, though. Oaky, but padded with ripe fruit and lees creaminess. Yum. It deserves a star, but at this price it jolly well ought to be this good. 11/10/07 |
