Very heavy bottle. Got a gold medal in 2006. Very savourily oaky - rich, ripe and almost syrupy smell. Sweet ripe fruit in the mouth. Alcohol at 14.5% is more or less in balance. Impressive. £16.99 is pushing it, but not by much.
