Cotes de Roussillon Villages. Low yield at 35 hl/ha. The 25% carignan grapes undergo carbonic maceration. Suitable for vegetarians. Shows a little age. Quite stinky and drainey. I quite like a whiffy wine, but this is borderline, even for me. Nice balance in the mouth, and the 13.5% alc is about right. The taste is sweetly composty and different. 11/10/07 |
