Post subject:  Saint Bris Sauvignon Blanc, William Fevre 2004

I have a bit of a problem with this wine. To me, it smells and tastes of peanuts. It's made with absolutely no oak and so that can't be the source. Waitrose assured me that the smell I was smelling was peapods. It would be impolite to disagree.

If any of you have tried this wine, I'd be grateful for your opinion. I will buy it when on offer, to give it another go, but tried 2 different bottles at Waitrose. Maybe I have a faulty nose receptor!!??

Tasted at Waitrose 12/4/06
