30% aged on French oak staves for 2 months. Quite pale. Very light, cherry aroma and not at all obviously Cabernet. Cherry and violet taste with a mere hint of tannin. There's 10% Petit Verdot which might be responsible for the violet but the Cabernet is overworked. 18/10/07 |
