Another interesting wine that has developed over about 4 months. In November I tasted it at Somerfield and wrote "Fab, fab smell. Green peppers and raspberries. Quite bitter in mouth but rich enough to compensate. Good" and then tasted it on 15th March, this year, at Vinopolis. "Lovely dusty raspberry smell - absolutely typical and very attractive. VG and typical taste. Finish is slightly sweet for me, but I'm a fussy so and so."

Interestingly, I gave it a red star in March, when I hadn't in November.

Had a bottle with some wine mad friends last night and they loved it. Possibly because we'd just slogged through an Orvieto tasting (see articles) and we were all feeling tannin withdrawal.
