SO2 and silver polish on the nose. Very dry, with strong elder aroma and taste, rather than gooseberry. Pity about the smell as the taste is good. 12/10/06 The Ned Sauvignon Blanc 2007 Waitrose 9.99 14% alcohol. Lightly, fragrantly gooseberry-scented. Fairly sweet, compared to other NZ SB at Waitrose. Gooseberry taste. Good. Worth snapping up at £6.69 during Dec 07/Jan 08. 11/10/07 |
