American and French oak. Quite a rich, brambly smell. Taste has no character, but it's fine. 11/10/07 |

Mel, this price puts it in competition with Peter Lehman's Barossa and the Jacobs Creek Reserve Shiraz, both of which have quite definite characters - spice, liquorice, blackberry etc. |
