The clocks went back on Sunday at 2:00 am, and after a Summer of error, the forum finally ageed with our British time zone - which is GMT until 29th March 2010 when British Summer Time begins, and the clocks Go Forward. However, the gremlins have been messing about, and now forum time is an hour ahead of our time zone. ![]() This is odd, the last time I had to mess about with Software time was in Windows 95.......... way way back. phpBB is American software ? and is probably coded in UTC. Please advise the gremlins, that UTC is the same as GMT until 29/3/2010. |

Not so fast, RobinActually No - when a user logs on and makes a posting, the time is GMT + 1 Hour (see botton right hand corner of the page window When one logs off, and reviews the thread later (without logging in) the , the time reverts back to GMT, which is correct, our current time zone Hmnn, this looks to be a glitch in phpBB. Or the software attempts to find the correct time zone for users in different countries, and at the mo, the phpBB software considers us to be in the Euro Time Zone, when we are NOT logged on. No - Not so easy to fix as it seems ![]() |

Very excellent friend having a look, but if too complicated may have to just live with it. B, you're in the same time zone as Stroud, aren't you? |

BTW - Thought the offers of the week for 26th October is a good-un. Apart from anything else, weening Students off Alco Pops would be better for the wine industry (ecxcept Bossom Hill and all that Tat) and good for young peoples health. Also, may help in keeping the Streets a bit cleaner in Town Centres. 5 freezing cold alco-pops, or however many hits they want, is horrendous for the digestive system ![]() |
