Made by Ara. Light medium bodied, acid about right. Pungent blackcurrant and passion fruit with some lingering capsicum. Very good indeed. VM WR is better still but this is lovely and cheap

Loses it's star because the flavour fades after the first glass. The 2010 had a different flavour but was also a one glass wonder. The Villa Maria's just have greater concentration I guess. Pungency of flavour and lightness of body is obviously an art. |
