Alsace, Cave de Hunawihr Maj says...'An open, generous and straightforward wine, offering fresh pear and apricot fruit and a lifted smokiness. Gently off-dry, emphasising the soft, ripe fruit, the palate has a pleasing length.' I say the same. Really intense PG, but in a nice way. Must get more, although it slips down so well, it needs my new-found restraint. |
