currently on offer at Sainsburys at £9.99 (from 12.99)

fairly stereotypical in terms of NZ PN.
Dark in colour with decent note of cherry and rasperry with nice oak note.
Not overly elegant and had a little too much acidity mid palate through to the finish

May improve with a bit of dust on the bottle in a couple of yrs. Not sure whether I’ll bother grabbing more than the 2 I have left

Thanks for the report Shezz,

Since my Mega Sains is well out of Town, and closed on Sunday at 16:00 when I was intending to pick some up, before going on to my daughter's & son - I - L for supper with our grand kids ..........

Yeah - based on wot you said - I think I may leave it.

Q. Better than Drystone '04 CO pn ? Acidity may suit Goose, yet he wants farmyard and forest floor (which is the holy grail).....so ....errrr no.

I actually think the drystone had a little more finesse after a little while longer.
Lighter in colour and found the confectionary element had faded and made for quite a nice refreshing PN
Still lacking some of the barnyard that I'd like though

Possibly a bit unfair to compare a wine with 4yrs more bottle age but on first impressions I'd give it to Drystone but time will tell....
