Beautiful palest orange colour. Taste is all sugar. 14g/bottle.

MrD would say sparkling candyfloss

T'wood be an insult to the candyfloss

To be honest it was no worse than any of the commercial sparkling New World pink Champagne mimics which tend to look the part but taste too sweet.

Jacob's Creek is a good example. It can be a little yeasty which is good and sometimes the strawberry is nice but all too often you have a glass and it could be strawberry pop.

The Gauthier only seemed worse because it's generally sold for £25.99 and even if it's no match for the likes of Krug etc it should still be a big step up on Jacob's Creek but it wasn't.

Anyone for Prosecco ?

Skinny and cold

Please ! Of those Sains / Tesco ones tried here....the price is the positive attribute in it's favour, good for parties.....other than that ?

A virgin taken in Italy is probably quite nice though.

We finished the last bottle of Elderflower fizz yesterday. This had mellowed into something quite special, light and lemony with a distinct fresh elderflower flavour, its a shame I'll never get to drink it again.

I will be ramping up production this year hoping to further improve.

15ltr's should do it.
