Loads of Elderwhatsits, but not the greatest of finesse, but can't knock it at less than a fiver (unless west of the Severssippi).
However (from the Telegraph (it's OK, I didn't buy it))...the name: Wairau Cove is neither a winery nor a place. It might sound familiar because Wairau Valley is a subregion of Marlborough (incidentally, asked if the grapes actually come from there, Tesco could only say that ''the vast majority of them had”) but Wairau Cove doesn’t actually exist. The second was the small print on the back label that indicated the wine was bottled in the UK. Together these two clues point in one direction: bulk wine.

Oh yes, I can knock it.

1- It's badly made wine.

2- Tesco sell this at £9.99 for much of the year and are ripping off their customers

3- Sweet

4- Sugary

5- Pap

6- This wine in the minds of the great unwashed has become an almost iconic MSB. Some established wineries are now trying to compete by dumbing down their basic ( Wither Hills - JE - Dashwood ) or introducing new garbage wines of their own.

Tesco now only has rubbish like this.

7- There is no number 7

8- If you're only gonna spend a fiver then why abandon the pleasure of a few cans of your favourite lager/ale/cider for a bottle of wine that in nearly all cases you won't enjoy as much..if at all

9- Tat

10- People who drink garbage wine and say ' not bad for a fiver ' should be shot, kicked up the arse and made to live in Bristol
