This is the vintage one which is only produced in good years. The usual 3 suspects plus Chardonnay. More colour than most and lots of lovely tiny bubbles. It is deemed to be "extra brut", but these epithets are to be taken with a Mediterranean of salt where bubbly is concerned. Soft, pleasant and regularly on offer at various outlets, it is a good £6 worth. I do prefer a little more pizzaz but often buy this. |
