I bought a bottle of this several months back on clearance. I think the above price is correct £2 off normal price. I seem to remember it was the last on the shelf. I have had a look on the website but it does not appear to be on sale anymore, but I could have sworn I had seen this in store recently perhaps on the 09. Anyway the nose is incredible. The label says rose petal and lychee and it is exactly right. A good mouthfeel and a decent finish. Its probably past its best but if it was better when it was fresh it would have been really good. Even now it is excellent. |

Sounds better than the Vinalba torrontes I picked up a while ago from Sainsburys Had a fantastic nose but let down when drinking as after a very quick initial burst of rose & lychee it had a bit of a ffunny twang. Was better the colder it was for the momoent I think I'd choose Gewerz over torrones. Decanter's Argie tasting is on this Saturday but sadly I haven't got a ticket this year |

Another decent budget Torrentes, they keep popping up. How about Torrentes for your next comparative tasting Mel? |
