Senility has it's benefits. Without knowing, I had an '07 and an '08. We drank them both (and a few others) last night. Couldn't seperate them. Both are genuine down-the-middle Alsace R. Just right. Not too floral, not too kerosene, not too wimpy. A little metallic/acidic kick from the 12% alcohol to back up the fruit. Great, lovely, smashing. |
