Pinot Noir, £9.99 Majestic. Very nice indeed, peppery nose, juicy raspberry and peppery flavours, savoury, not too light, focused with decent acidity, good all-round mouth-feel with a nice earthy edge. A classic 'easy-drinker' with character and good length, went very well with chicken breast cooked in a pepper, lemon and tarragon cream sauce. |

Didn't you do well. Nice and correct Macon by the sound of it. GK I expect you bought right - Yeah, I know you normally do. At Christmas till the beginning of Feb 2010, you may have acquired this wine for £7.99, there was a £4 off offer per pair, if you look at web history. Excellent, this restores some faith, albeit a little, in Jadot. The majority of the fruit for this wine has been grown around the village of Loché, southwest of Mâcon in southern Burgundy. Looking at Macon blanc, I'm assuming that this pinot noir fruit was also sourced from around the same village of Loche' ....which lends itself to.....Les Roches rouge |

I got this as part of a mixed case I shared with a friend, we both had one of each bottle, I/we didnt pay the full price. Painting the hall & stairs today, I is yellow man. |
