A blend of Reichensteiner, Rivaner, Schönburger & Bacchus grapes, and shows it. Needs to be cold, when it rewards with perhaps too many bits, but not an identity as such. A little mineral nod at Gavi/Chablis, a splash of Mosel flowers plus a tiny blueberry acidity. A few more years and a bit more global warming and we'll get there... |
