So nearly a lovely wine. Gorgeous nose, fresh, red wood and pepper. Cold coffee and bright cherry-red fruit flavours, brilliant acidity. Just lacking depth, light and fruity. |

Is this the same wine at Waitrose ? Caves de Tain Crozes '07 -£7.99 in store GK - What did M&S want for this wine ? Could you coax out some depth - Sploshing ? 2007 S. Rhone is an easy and ripe vintage - we know this, and 'maybe' a somewhat simple vintage at bargain supermarket volume level. Praps, we s/be concerned, as now tailored for Joe Pub, take home and glug, buy next day and glug. Twas U who said, "it's manipulated to suit" |

Is was around £8 instore when I bought it. It certainly opened up in the glass, one could sense the nose building in intensity. This is a very good wine, just lacking a little rev. I will see what the second day brings when I go back to it this evening. I gave it a good tug on the vacuvin before I put it away but nevertheless, it should have been exposed enough to encourage it to blossom. Link |

This had collapsed by the second night Dunc, flat fruit, tannic. It would make a great BBQ wine, lightly chilled with a huge burger. |
