Widely available, currently on offer, Sainsburys £6.09

Some thyme and pear on the nose. Concentrated and rich but no real 'shape'. I couldnt get excited about this, simulated fruit, tart with forceful acidity, kiwi fruit. Not how I remember this wine at all.

GK - Glad you got to The Monty Res.

This MSB '09 harvest 'un'harf makin sum pear-shaped vino

Maybe w'ere all still stuck on an '07 mindset.

P'raps more sitting is needed (simulated fruit, tart with forceful acidity) - intergration problems ?

Who knows Dunc, modern wine making is so manipulative, finesse is engineered for the credulous palate.

Increasingly wines are rich and concentrated, yet hollow, soulless even.

Indeed. Tis hard to believe that Montana can make such a tasteless wine with superior grapes when their basic is so flavoursome as to be OTT.

Pear and thyme.

I'm saying nothing
