No semillon in here. Not a lot of gooseberries, blackcurrants or crapiscums either. Pleasant though, heading towards Muscadet almost, with crème brulée on the finish. Might develop a little so will sit on the second one for a bit. |

Kinell, did I write that??? Must have been Tesco's top-shelf oven. Next one is fine. All the expected tastes in here now, plus a hint of butter. Nice. Why Oh why can't these stores keep the temp down? My local WR is a greenhouse. The lovely lady running it has asked repeatedly for lower temps and is ignored. Bah! |

New offer, 2 for a tenner. Really to my taste. Somewhere between the SA smokey darkness, the NZ finessse and the Chilean zing. Utterly imbibeable, but blind, I would not put it in NZ |

Can't find that anywhere. Where did it come from? |

I got mine from Tesco online, paid around a fiver for it. Its made in quite a dry stlye, I thought it tight and edgy when I first got it but it seems to relax more with every bottle I open. The sweetness comes through in the end, and there are some soft floral notes, not much lime or petrol tho. Not perfect put a bargain for what I paid. Its my fave wine to take to my local bring-your-own* curry house, is what I got it for. *Wine, not curry. |
