Bought two of these at same time as the "LE" St. V. This was unfortunately just as dire. Blended the first one, and tried to return the second one today. It took 20 mins and three different "customer-non-service" children who all put up an enormous wall of defence. Got a credit eventually after being told that I was rude etc. Who me? Did someone mention "grumpy" as well?

I had a superb bottle of this a couple of years back, followed up by an especially non-superb bottle.
Puzzling.

It is a Burden.

Awful weather on M4 cardiff, hope Goose didn't have to sleep in the coach. Had calls from wife in Hawksbury Upton to hubby at club that there was heavy snow as well.

Saw it coming, went off in for 20 mins in the ole R4, deserted ice rink, everthing'za whiter shade, and it's 1:00 am.

See ya Ba, but before I log off, sorry about that Blousey white again - Just maybe, I thought they could have done something reasonable with the fruit in Chalonnaise for 2008.

Ed's still swooning after the 2005, even Blousey could make a fist of 2005 fruit, after that, all down hill. The 2009 vintage, already hyped by the serious producers, will probably save the last corners of their reputation from ending in tatters - We shall see.

Only just made it into the office, roads are the worst i've seen, some dopey cow in an MG soft-top took a roundabout too quick and promtly lost it, missed the front of my car by an inch. Its still snowing with more forecast today.

Re. NZ PN, Im planning to open my bottle of the Kaituna Hills Reserve '07 this weekend. Hope its not too early... (Mel's WOTW).

Yep, I've stayed away from recent vintages of the Blason portfolio. I did have some lovely '04 Montagny a while back.

Enjoy that PN, GK, if WOTW, then good on the day, with these, things can only get silkier for quite a few years.
I dont think there is any NZ pinot that goes asleep, is there ? Nah.

I could do with that Kaituna this week - Nice.

Snowgoose calling......

We stayed the night in Brizzle and came home the following afternoon. The driver and two volunteers stayed the night on the coach.

I didn't volunteer.

Sod that !

Where did you stay?
Why did you let the idiots equalise in added time? Nuff to make a bishop grumpy.

Stayed with a cousin of one of the boys. In a place not far from the ground. Windmill Hill. Old fashioned looking place reminds me of Roath in Cardiff where all the student accomodation is.
