Nice first nose, quite a green tint. This 100% chardonnay is somewhat disappointing. A tiny hint of stone fruit(s) but they are in a hospital ward. Can't find the advertised nuts, and all in all a little flabby. 0 from 2 so far for the LE range. |

Half decent Saint Veran is unheard of for £5.25 in the year 2009 - So, that may explain the lack lustre experience that you have been rewarded with. 2007 vintage was OK in the Côte de Chalonnaise. Chardonnay always has a reasonable nose. Another Limited Release failure ? Can you pep this up as a mixer ? Really sorry Ba - send the damn thing back to Sainbury's for a full refund and open another wine. Please don't drink the bloody thing, cos you can't face telling customer services that it is Rubbish - Give them a smack. |

I half expect to be beaten up in the car park by their "security" yobs already. Need brain tomorrow so wanted a small quantity of something nice tonight - failed miserably. |
