You mean the white. They do a red, which I'm trying tomorrow night. Shiraz/Grenache/Mourvedre. From your note you mean the white. |

Mel, shall we educate these reprobates about the boutique Barossa producers ? These are the growers we want to support ! Turkey Flat in Tanunda creek, Barossa was planted with shiraz in the 1860's or so, and is a family business. Old bush vine shiraz from their vineyards is an exceptional wine, but priced accordingly. Their cab is also first rate as well. I dont know their other Rhone varieties, but, I'd very much like to hear what you think of them. Enquiring minds: I wonder if they will treat you to a vintage bush vine shiraz from the 90's ? If they do, Pls let us know .................except that pestering Goose of course. They do an Andalucian style (Competa) wine with Pedro Xwhat's it, will you be giving that try ? fortified and oaky I think |

Drat, for "G" read "B". Yes, it was the 14 bottles of MSG Wither Hills that did it. Withered his brain and his typing. |

Withered his brain and his typing... Originally 'twas intended as reference to Mouvedre/Shiraz/Grenache, but then saw that they were "out of order" and took the opportunity to bash some gooseberries. Signed: Ned Bacchus IX |
