Offer price. Lamest example of a Marlborough sauvignon i've ever tasted. Dry white wine. Fair price around £3.49 |

Ttd were strong, as suspected. Some stars. Will try to get Amelia (aged 14) to get the notes up tomorrow, plus those from Waitrose last week. She has dance after school, but then there's a window of opportunity. And there's some cash in it for her. |

I remember tasting an Oyster Bay around two years ago and thinking, 'you know, this is pretty good!' Then I tasted an '08 recently and recall thinking how aggressively sweet and full-on the wine was, very unpleasant. |

Kinda gets my goat when people harp on about Oyster Bay.. Makes me want to grab them and shake them violently while explaining its not the only MSB out there. That said, it means the shelves are rarely empty of JE offerings for us to enjoy I'm sure they originally get sucked in by the "Bay" postfix to the title associating it with Cloudy Bay. If that is the case then its a great marketing tool |

Indeed, I've always felt it was the "bay" thing. Proper milk is 4% fat. When the "healthy/greeny" revolution was picking up one milk supplier round here put a large green roundal on it's cartons. "Look" it said, "96% fat free". Good one son. |

On offer [again] at £6.16 W/R and my second ever bottle. Easy to see why it flys off the shelves. Good old fashioned British SB. Middle of the road, acceptable and several nuances depending on temp. Easy, simple, fine. Not at full price though. |
