This has always been let down in the past by a touch of sulphur spoiling what was otherwise a very good wine. The sulphur has gone ! Hooray !! So has the flavour ...tastes like an Australian sauvignon/semillon blend. Honeysuckle and citrus. Worth about £3.99. |

My local is selling off the '08 for £3, based on this review and the age I think I'll give it a miss. |

Yeah, the Arra version on '08 was nearly compost 18 months ago. Talking about what's holding, and what isn't ! Even with good cellaring conditions... The VM Wairau reserve 2009 an older vine SB, last one drunk on Sunday, the wine was on a 'beauty' decline 2 hours after opening. The next day, after resealing and fridging, pretty much done in ! - Dodgy screw cap ? Dunno. |

This parlicular store makes me chuckle, look closely and you'll see '03 & '04 whites all over the place. Nothing you'd want to buy tho. |
