Unpleasant nose, 'cat spray' and wet wood. Good colour, bright. Ripe raspberry and white chocolate flavours, acidic, thin-ish and a touch sweet. Improved a little on the second day.

I think you must have got a bad bottle: Soleus Organic Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Asda £5.98 Heady, attractive oak aroma. Herbal, spicy flavour. Interesting and nicely balanced. 26/09/07

Interesting yes, nicely balanced? not this one. Possibly faulty, if so it was a fault I have not encountered before. |
