This was mentioned on another forum, Aldi are now stocking Culley Pinot Noir & Sav Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand wines for £5.99 each, they are the 2006. http://www.culleywines.co.nz/ Several people said the PN was pretty good and excellent VFM, no comments on the SB. I have not tried either yet but did pop in today to pick up one of each. |

I had the Culley Pinot Noir tonight, very good for the price, quite restrained, out of character for NZ PN, almost Chilean on the nose, fresh, lively acidity, only 12.5% I'll take two of these over one bottle of syrupy Wither Hills PN any day. |
