?5.99..Thresher Very unusual sauvignon from Chile's Casablanca Valley. If it had been served to me as a Pouilly Fume at a restaurant I would have thought it was not only spot on but an exceptionally good one. Flavours of rich yet slightly bitter lemon and minerals with a hint of pepper. Ok the pepper is not typical Loire but that apart it really could pass for a great Pouilly Fume. Absurd value for money. |

This is one of my "automatic" regulars (though not at full price of course). Solid, consistent and incroiable value. Fill your boots (or glasses if you prefer). |

I prefer the Errazuriz Tapihue Block SB, a touch off-dry, clean, some apple & elderflower, very good. Picked up a few reduced price bottles recently. |

I didn't even realise for some time that they were different. I was getting one from W/rose and t'other from Tesco. The labels are so similar. Will now think harder and see which I prefer. |
